Both choir and madrigal group at high school were led by Vince Kelly, the founder of the Australian Boys' Choir. Later, as a high school music teacher, Bruce was presented with many more choirs, for which he arranged and wrote. He also helped train the choir from the Institute of Early Childhood Development for the ABC's Singing and Listening program in the 70s.
Escaping Melbourne in the 80s led him to Nimbin, where he ran the Community Choir. Escaping Nimbin led him to Lismore, where he became Head of Music at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium Arts Centre(NRCAC). Whilst there, he founded Gregarious Chance in 1993, which continued as his fully privatised ensemble until 2006.
At the invitation of the local Reconciliation group in Lismore, he directed Voices Together for its first three years, and has organised a series of multi choired concerts each year in the Northern Rivers area under the title "A Choired Taste"
Bruce is available for commissions, arranging, rehearsals, workshops, or events and their seasons, and can provide scores of all his works. Works can thus be prepared before the event's rehearsals. Some works have a Standard MIDI File (SMF) available as an accompaniment, or to help learn the parts (e.g. you can put tenor part to left speaker, everything else to right)[see Cubase and Conducting below]

Bruce uses Cubase VST/24 to score his works, because then the same files can be used for recording sessions.
Learn to print music. It's much easier for other people to read - not to mention yourself.
Cubase is available for Macs, and PCs
