Reconciliation

I was hurrying past the (enclosed) speakers tent at the Woodford Festival, on the way to a gig.

As I passed I heard the voice within say the lyrics of this song. I wrote them down later when I got back to camp, but have not been able to find out who said it, or even if it was live or recorded. I would like to credit the person, and to seek his approval, but currently, after many calls, I've had no luck..... If you can tell me who said it and how to contact him, please contact.

Thankyou, whoever you are, for helping us make the point - reconciliation may not be completed, but it has not just died and gone away either.

This is a reggae style, beginning with a vocalised bass and drums imitation.

.........................................

"Since the people
turned their back upon
the Prime Minister
in Melbourne,
Reconciliation
has become
a process
of the people,
and will be,
for a very long time."

(repeat with harmony)

(I have added)

"We will never forget.
We will never forget.
We will never forget.
We will never forget."
